MicroPort Is Selected as One of the Fourth Batch of National Pilot Innovative Enterprises
On 14 September 2010, State Department of Science and Technology, SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions jointly issued the Notice on Selecting the Fourth Batch of National Pilot Innovative Enterprises, and MicroPort is wherein listed.
National Pilot Innovative Enterprises are supposed to be selected by State Department of Science and Technology, SASAC and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, leaning toward competitive enterprises with strong innovative capacity in science and technology, following the criteria that the enterprises should uphold key technologies and intellectual property rights, sustainable innovation capability, industrial promotion capacity, and with their own name branding. The enterprises recognized as National Pilot Innovative Enterprises will be supported by the National Science and Technology Plan, enjoying priority in establishing innovation platform, recruiting talents as well as transforming R&D results into marketable products.
