On 16 December , 2011, WE Talk, an academic communication platform launched by MicroPort Sales & Marketing Department, had been brought into being. The phrase “WE Talk” in Chinese has its profound meanings. In Chinese, the pronunciation “WE” is similar to the word “Micro”, which not only indicates our company MicroPort, but also stands for the minimally invasive technology. In addition, it also reminds us of the elaborately and delicately working style in medical device industry.
Supported by large-scale regional forums, WE Talk has held 11 forums in eight regions, including cities of Hefei, Nanning, Jining, Jinan, Zunyi, Beijing, and so on. WE Talk has invited many nationally renowned specialists to be the chairman, like Professor Weimin Wang from Beijing University People's Hospital, Professor Weiyi Fang from Shanghai Chest Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University, Professor Yundai Chen from Chinese PLA General Hospital, and President of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital Weifeng Shen. To date, more than 2,000 audiences have participated in WE Talk.

Many specialists have already accepted our invitation to WE Talk for the next half year. The foot print of WE Talk will further reach out to more regions, such as Linyi, Qingdao, Taiyuan, and Kunming.
