Shanghai, July 16, 2012--Approved by MicroPort's Board of Directors, Mr. Jonathan Chen formally assumed the position as Vice President in International Business & Investor Relations yesterday. Mr. Jonathan has 14 years of experience in life science industry including as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Financial Strategy at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. based in Canada from 2005 to 2011and Senior Vice President, Health Industry Investment at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Jonathan received his undergrad dual degree in Bioscience and Economics from Stanford University in 1997.
In addition, Mr. Phillip Wang (Wang Li), former COO responsible for the International Business, resigned voluntarily and Board of Directors approved his proposal.
