European Patent Office President Alison Brimelow Visited MicroPort

On November 30, European Patent Office President Alison Brimelow and other guests, accompanied by Commissioner Tian Lipu, Deputy Commissioner Li Yuguang of State Intellectual Property Office PRC and relevant leaders of Shanghai municipal and Pudong New Area intellectual property bureaus, paid a visit to MicroPort Medical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Zhang Yan, MicroPort's vice president in charge of legal issues, and Zhang Jie, senior vice administrative president, received the delegation.

At the meeting, Senior Vice Administrative President Zhangjie introduced the main products and development status of our company, while Zhangjie, vice president responsible for legal issues, gave an overall presentation on organization framework, management field, development strategy and patent application regarding MicroPort's intellectual property, and also answered the questions raised by the guests on MicroPort's patent incentive policies and international patent application. In the dialogue, Ms Alison Brimelow acknowledged MicroPort's efforts in IPR (intellectual property rights) protection, and also expected MicroPort to seek further development with IPR system. The delegation visited the company's exhibition hall and production workshops, thus winding up its visit to MicroPort.
