MicroPort Certificated as the National-Recognized Enterprise Technology Center
On 16 Nov., MicroPort was certificated as National-recognized Enterprise Technology Center by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), together with other 96 corporations.
The national-recognized enterprise technology center is supposed to be jointly selected by the NDRC and other 4 government departments of PRC. The candidate corporations were examined and evaluated by innovation capacity, marketing competence, financial performance, management system, intellectual property, and other related criteria. The certificated enterprise would be supported with favorable government policy. Before this recognition, MicroPort Enterprise Technology Center, which was founded in 1998, was once certificated as Enterprise Technology Center of Pudong New Area and Shanghai Enterprise Technology Center in 2001 and 2004 respectively.
