MicroPort Gained the Certificate of Foreign Medical Device Manufacturer from Japanese Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare
On April 30th, 2008, MicroPort Medical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. gained the Certificate of Foreign Medical Device Manufacturer from Japanese Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, becoming a recognized foreign manufacturer in Japan's medical device industry. This certificate is the necessary qualification for exporting and marketing products to Japan. According Japan's current Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, severe qualification exam and approval should be carried out for the quality system of medical device foreign manufacturer marketing in Japan.
