Shanghai, China – 19 June, 2014 – In partnership with Shanghai Medical Association Cardiovascular Diseases Division, Zhongshan Hospital and Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai MicroPort Medical (Group) Co ("MicroPort") launched a community activities program to promote public knowledge and awareness of heart attack on 18 June.
The community campaign aims to raise awareness and educate the public about heart attack. Through this community engagement initiative, MicroPort hopes to lower the incidences of heart attack in Shanghai. Over the next three years the program is planning various activities including expert consulting, community surveys and training for doctors. And MicroPort is inviting cardiologists to engage in a range of teaching opportunities to help the community learn about first-aid treatments, the causes of heart attack, and how lifestyle changes can prevent heart diseases.
