Mr. Guoming Chen is the Senior Vice President of Project Investment Management and Technology Development of the Company.
Mr. Chen joined the Company in March 2010 and has been primarily responsible for valve R&D, project management and process manufacturing, and led the development of R&D projects including the VitaFlow® transcatheter aortic valve system series product development. From 2016 to August 2023, he worked at Shanghai MicroPort CardioFlow Medtech Co., Ltd., serving successively as Executive Vice President, Executive Director and President. From August 2023 to present, he has joined the MicroPort Group as Senior Vice President of Projects Investment Management and Science&Technology Development, and he also serves as Chairman of the Board of Shanghai MicroPort CardioFlow Medtech Co., Ltd.
Mr. Chen has over 16 years of experience in the fields of research and development, clinical application and supply chain management in the medical device sector, and has received three first prizes for science and technology at the provincial/ministerial level, and has been honored with multiple titles including Shanghai Outstanding Young Engineer, Shanghai Leading Talent Program of Eastern Talent Plan, Shanghai Industrial Young Elite, among others. and he is also the inventor or coinventor of more than 100 invention patents in China and overseas.
Mr. Chen received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 2007, and his master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in March 2010.
