Mr. Philippe Wanstok is President of MicroPort CRM and Co-Chairperson of ICC. He joined the company in November 2017 as Vice President of global sales CRM. In September 2019, he became Senior Vice President of global sales and marketing of MicroPort CRM. Since July 2024, Philippe was part of MicroPort Overseas Business Development (OBD) team as Senior Vice President North America (Cardiovascular), managing all Cardiovascular MicroPort businesses for North America, including CRM. Mr. Wanstok has been appointed President of MicroPort CRM on December 1st, 2024. 

Mr. Wanstok has over 34 years of experience in the medical devices industry. Prior to joining our Group, from 1988 to 1995, Mr. Wanstok worked at Medtronic, a medical devices company offering therapies for different health conditions (including cardiac rhythm management), where he was primarily responsible for sales and business management. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Wanstok worked at InControl, a medical devices company headquartered in the United States, where he was primarily responsible for managing its business in South Europe. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Wanstok worked at Guidant, a company principally engaged in the design and manufacturing of cardiovascular medical products, where he was primarily responsible for managing marketing, sales and distribution matters.

From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Wanstok worked at Boston Scientific, a medical devices company, where he was primarily responsible for establishing and launching marketing strategies for all international geographies. From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Wanstok returned to Medtronic, where he was primarily responsible for managing international sales and commercial operations. From July 2012 to May 2017, he served as the chief commercial officer at CVRx Inc., a company engaged in the development and manufacturing of medical devices, where he was primarily responsible for managing sales and marketing matters.

Mr. Wanstok graduated from University of Rouen in France, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in July 1981, completed by a DESS in Foreign Trade, a diploma only accessible after obtaining a master’s degree in October 1989.
