Evermend™ VSD Occluder

The Evermend™ VSD occluders are designed for the percutaneous, transcatheter occlusion of ventricular septal defects (VSD). According to the variety of ventricular septum in thickness, the Evermend™ VSD occluders come in two variants; the Pre-membranous VSD occluder and the Muscular VSD occluder. The frame of the product is made of quality nitinol wire, sewn with three pieces of polyester fabric.

90% of VSD occurs around the membranous part. The Evermend™ Pre-membranous VSD occluder allows closure of the defects using a percutaneous transcatheter procedure instead of surgery.

Around 10% of VSD occurs in the Muscular part. This type of occluder is specially made thicker to fit the defect. The Muscular VSD Occluder has two concentric discs and a wide waist to accommodate the thicker position of the ventricular septum.

Features:

Evermend™ ASD Occluder

The Evermend™ ASD occluder is designed for the percutaneous, transcatheter occlusion of secundum arterial septal defector patient who suffer from a closed Fontan fenestration.

The frame of the occluder uses nitinol wires shaped into two discs. A waist that fits the size of the defect connects the two discs. There are three polyester fabric inserts to help close the hole and provide a foundation for the growth of tissue over the occluder after placement.

Low profile and weill shaping are considered as two essential parameters in the design of the Evermend™ ASD occluder. High quality nitinol material along with intensive heat processing, ensures the excellent ability of shape memorizing,

which enables smooth delivery and complete deployment when released. Integral Weaving technology is adopted in small and middle sized Evermend™ ASD occluders. Where an occluder over 30mm is needed, it can be fabricated in the traditional way.

Features:

  1. The frame of the occluder uses nitinol wire as material that is shaped into two discs.
  2. A waist that fits the size of the defect connects the two discs.
  3. Three polyester fabric inserts help close the hole and provide a foundation for the growth of tissue over the occluder after placement.

Evermend™ PDA Occluder

Three polyester fabric inserts help close the hole and provide a foundation for the growth of tissue over the occluder after placement.

Features:

  1. The treatment is feasible in the very young pediatric population.
  2. The occluder is made of a nitinol wire mesh shaped into a cylindrical plug with a flange to secure the occluder in the right position.
  3. Three pieces of polyester fabric sewn inside help close the hole and provide a foundation for the growth of tissue over the occluder after placement.

Delivery System for Occluders

The delivery system is designed to deliver the therapeutic devices for congenital heart diseases.

Features:

  1. Imported high quality PTFE tubing, smooth tubing wall, low resistance for delivery, makes it easy to reach the target position.
  2. Reinforced tubing, anti-kink and flexible, provides bigger inner diameter.
