Gathering in Academic Pageant, building together a bright future of interventional medicine-The China Interventional Therapeutics (CIT) 2008 successfully held
The China Interventional Therapeutics (CIT) 2008 was successfully staged from March 19-23 in Beijing International Convention Center (BICC). On the opening ceremony on March 19, prizes were awarded on the conference including The Lifetime Achievement Award, Outstanding Contribution Award, to name just a few. MicroPort won the prize of Special Contribution Award.
During the conference, MicroPort set up a large exhibition stand, and held noon satellite meeting and breakfast meeting in March 21 and 22 separately, on which new clinic data of Firebird Stent was published and discussions were held on application experiences of various products in interventional operations.
The satellite meeting was presided over by Professor Alexandre Abizaid, Professor Yaron Almagor, Professor Junbo Ge, Liliana R. Ginfeld and Professor Haichang Wang. And keynote speeches were given by Academician Renlin Gao, the Chairman of the conference, Professor Weifeng Shen from Ruijin Hospital, Professor Alejandro Fajuri from South America, and Professor Damras Tresukosol from Thailand.
