MicroPort® CRM Enrolls First patients in POLARIS Clinical Trial Using FLEXIGO™ Delivery Catheter System for LBBAP Implantations

Clamart, France, 03 March 2025 – MicroPort® CRM, a pioneering company in the field of Cardiac Rhythm Management, headquartered in France, is pleased to announce the first patient enrollments in the POLARIS European clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT06453850).This study evaluates the safety and performance of the new FLEXIGO™ delivery catheter system for lead implantation in the interventricular septum, specifically targeting Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing (LBBAP).

LBBAP is an emerging pacing technique that utilizes the heart's natural conduction system efficiency and is recognized as the preferred approach to physiological pacing. 

Doctor Ferreira at Coimbra Hospital in Portugal successfully enrolled the first patients. Doctor Cano, Principal Investigator of the POLARIS clinical study also implanted their first patients at the University and Polytechnic La Fe Hospital of Valencia, Spain.
