15 June 2010, the first-in-man implantation of Futago™ - the thoracic and lumbar fusion device developed by Shanghai MicroPort Orthopedics Co., Ltd was successfully conducted at East Renji Hospital. The thoracic and lumbar fusion device Futago™ and its related surgical instruments are all MicroPort's self-developed products, the clinical safety and efficacy of which are being validated in different clinical centers throughout the country.
