MicroPort® EP Receives Approvals for Multiple Catheters and Other Devices in Indonesia

Shanghai, China - Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. (“MicroPort® EP”) recently received regulatory approvals for multiple independently developed catheters and other devices from Indonesia NA-DFC. The approvals marked that products of MicroPort® EP have entered the Indonesian market for the first time.

The approved catheters and other devices are primarily used in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmia. The catheters are FireMagic® Cardiac RF Ablation Catheter, FireMagic® 3D Irrigated Ablation Catheter, EasyFinder® Fixed Curve Diagnostic Catheter, EasyFinder® Steerable Curve Diagnostic Catheter, and EasyLoop® Circular Mapping Catheter. The other devices comprise Columbus™ 3D EP Navigation System, Columbus™ External Reference Patch, Columbus™ Cardiac Electrophysiology Stimulator, FORLNK™ Cables, OptimAblate™ Tubing Set, OptimAblate™ Irrigation Pump, and OptimAblate™ Cardiac RF Generator.

Prior to these approvals, products of MicroPort® EP have entered the Asian countries of India, Thailand and South Korea. After being granted the approvals in Indonesia, the multiple catheters and other devices will provide a complete integrated therapeutic solution in electrophysiology for local patients and doctors, laying a solid groundwork for the company’s further exploration in the Asian market, especially the market of Southeast Asia.
