MicroPort Selected as One of the Shanghai 2010 Biomedical Commercialization Projects and Honored a Grant
On 31 October, according to the list of Shanghai 2010 Biomedical Commercialization Projects that has been made public recently, the company was honored a grant of certain amount for a project "R&D and Commercialization of Medical Devices for Chronic Disease (Phase Ⅱ)" by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, together with other 18 projects. Based on the "R&D and Commercialization of Medical Devices for Chronic Disease (Phase Ⅰ) ", a grant of RMB approximately 55 million, the rewarded project covers more product pipelines with expanded market scale, better satisfying the demand of commercialization and promoting the development of domestic medical device industry.
