MSC Displays Innovative Devices at 2016 Innovation Week Expo
Shanghai, China - MicroPort Sorin CRM (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("MSC"), a joint venture of Shanghai MicroPort Medical (Group) Co., Ltd. ("MicroPort®"), recently attended the Shanghai Venue of 2016 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week ("Innovation Week") that kicked off on October 12, and display several innovative products.
From October 12 to October 14, there is an exhibition to display innovation projects, with four sections including "Shanghai College Students Entrepreneurship and Innovation Projects" and "Startups in Shanghai," in the 1,100m2 exhibition area. MSC displayed its innovative products such as domestically made pacemakers and pacing leads. MSC received the "Best Investment Value Award" and the "Winning Prize in Enterprise Group" in the 2016 "Startup Shanghai" Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition which is also the Shanghai Division of Fifth China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition.
During the exhibition, MSC's products attracted wide attention from the attendees. Shanghai Deputy Mayor Bo Zhou and his team also visited the MSC exhibition area, and showed great interest in the products and said he looked forward to the market launch of the domestically made pacemakers and pacing leads.
In the future, MSC will continue to stick to the vision "Innovated in China, for China," and focus on technology innovation and in-house R&D, to provide high-quality cardiac rhythm management products and service for domestic and international patients.
The 2016 Innovation Week held from October 12 through October 18 in different cities in China, is sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission and organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. This year's event was themed "Developing new economy and cultivating new dynamics." In partnership with Shanghai's world famous technology innovation centers, the Shanghai Venue will have various cutting-edge products on display to further encourage people to start up their own businesses and to make innovation on a large scale.
