Our Company's "MicroPort" trademark was recently named "Shanghai Famous Trademark"
With the deliberation by the 12th meeting of Shanghai Famous Trademark Certification Committee and the approval by Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce, our company's "MicroPort" trademark was recently named "Shanghai Famous Trademark". In accordance with "Provisional Measures on Certification and Protection of Shanghai Famous Trademarks", "MicroPort" shall enjoy special protection according to law after being certified as "Shanghai Famous Trademark". This is the first of our many trademarks to receive this honorary title.
The day of 6 March 2008 saw the staging of "Shanghai Trademark Development Work Facilitation Conference", during which the grand "Shanghai Famous Trademarks" plaque awarding ceremony was held. Mr. Hu Yanzhao, Shanghai Vice Mayor, and Mr. Fu Shuangjian, Vice Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, delivered important speeches at the conference, at which Ms. Zhang Yan, our Vice President in charge of legal affairs, was present and accepted "Shanghai Famous Trademark" plaque and certificate.
