(hereinafter referred to as "MicroPort® EP") IceMagic® Cardiac Cryoablation System, MicroPort® UT (Jiaxing) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MicroPort® UT") portable thoracoscope system, and Suzhou MicroPort NaviBot Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MicroPort® NaviBot") Honghu™ orthopedic surgical robot (SkyWalker Total Knee System in the global market). The products stood out from nearly 11,000 entries from 56 countries and regions.

The German iF Design Award was founded in 1953 to discover and showcase globally outstanding product innovation and design achievements. It is known as one of the "world's three major design awards" along with the German "Red Dot Award" and the American "IDEA Award". It awards achievements in various design categories each year, including product design, communication design, service design, architectural design, professional concepts, user experience, and user interface.

MicroPort® EP's IceMagic® Cardiac Cryoablation System, which won the award, is an innovative atrial fibrillation treatment product with target ablation temperature setting and control functions. The operator can set the ablation target temperature in real-time to reduce the risk caused by undue low ablation temperature. Considering the requirements for operating room space and convenience, the IceMagic® trolley has a compact structure, small volume, simple and neat appearance, and is convenient for hospital equipment management and cleaning. The layout design of critical freezing buttons includes foolproof design to avoid misoperation, and the reasonable tilt angle is also easy for operators to use. The balloon catheter handle can be adjusted with a double bend for precise positioning of ablation lesions. The handle has a simple and sleek appearance without unnecessary curve designs, making it adaptable to the hand sizes of different operators.

The portable thoracoscope, which won the award for MicroPort® UT, is an innovative product driven by the combination of medical science and engineering. It changes the conventional operating method of traditional thoracic diagnosis and treatment, allowing patients to sit upright instead of lying down. Under local anesthesia at the affected area of the chest, a vertical path is formed, requiring less space for the surgery, and significant shortening of the treatment time. The handle is designed specifically for thoracic examination, and the flexible segment of the insertion part can bend up and down 180°, which can help doctors diagnose and treat various positions in the patient's chest. The gun-shaped handle design conforms to the doctor's sitting posture, owning a smooth surface with comfortable tactile feedback, suitable for operating in different directions with both left and right hands.

The award-winning product of MicroPort® NaviBot is the software system of the Honghu™ orthopedic surgical robot (SkyWalker Total Knee System in the global market). The Honghu™ orthopedic surgical robot (SkyWalker Total Knee System in the global market) is the only China -produced orthopedic robotic system that has obtained the NMPA, FDA, and CE certifications. It effectively assists doctors in performing joint replacement surgery by providing various solutions. The Honghu™ orthopedic surgical robot (SkyWalker Total Knee System in the global market) takes the intuitiveness during orthopedic surgery as the primary consideration, displaying real-time rendered views and eye-catching indicators as the main elements. Its linear workflow user interface helps surgeons create 3D visualized precise surgical plans, improving the accuracy and efficiency of surgery.

Winning this award signifies that MicroPort® and its affiliates' innovative design capabilities have been recognized by international authoritative organizations. In the future, the company will continue to innovate, focus on details, and deeply explore user needs, transforming research and innovation capabilities into excellent products that meet clinical demands, and provide more affordable, high-quality, and morally-sound solutions to extend and reshape human life.
