Dr. Zhaohua Chang engaged as commissioner of Expert Consultative Committee, Shanghai Municipal Government Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs

Approved by Shanghai Municipal Government Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs, Dr. Zhaohua Chang, Chairman of MicroPort Medical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, was engaged as commissioner of Expert Consultative Committee, Shanghai Municipal Government Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs. On April 3rd, 2008, Deputies from Shanghai Municipal Government Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs, led by Yaofang Yu, Director of Policy & Regulation Research Division, came all the way to MicroPort to award the letter of appointment for Dr. Chang.

Expert Consultative Committee, the Municipal Government Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs was constituted on the basis of the expert consultative group established in 2005. In order to do better in Shanghai's overseas Chinese affairs, and to meet the demand of new development of overseas Chinese affairs, according to Advices on the Improvement of Overseas Chinese Affairs under New Circumstance from General Office of CCCPC and General Office of the State Council, the Municipal Government Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs constituted such a expert consultative committee under the support of society. The committee includes experts, scholars, and senior personnel of overseas Chinese affairs, who are enriched in knowledge on culture, economics, history, geography and demography, or experienced in overseas Chinese affairs.
