Algorithm: PARAD+TM
Protecting patients for over 20 years.
World's first dual-chamber discrimination algorithm.
PARAD+
PARAD+ is a dual-chamber discrimination algorithm which discriminates ventricular tachycardia from supraventricular tachycardia or sinus tachycardia.
It has been designed with the typical ECG characteristics of the different tachycardia rhythms.
By featuring AF DetectTM, PARAD+is the only discriminator to include beat-to-beat R-R long cycle search to distinguish stable, rapidly conducted AF from VT.
*Not applicable to US devices
How it works
PARAD+ discriminates ventricular tachycardia from supraventricular or sinus tachycardia based on the following criteria:
Performance
In the inappropriate shock reduction study, 1 out of 100 patients implanted with a device featuring PARAD+ received inappropriate shocks over one year: the lowest rate of inappropriate shock ever reported in the medical literature.1
