Atheroslclerosis (AS)

It is the main cause of coronary heart disease, cerebral infarction and peripheral vascular disease. Lipid metabolism disorder is the pathological basis of atherosclerosis, and has the feature that the lesion of the affected artery starts from the intima, usually with accumulation of lipids and complex carbohydrates, hemorrhage and thrombosis. Next, fibrous hyperplasia and calcification occur, accompanied by medial degeneration and calcification of the artery. These result in thickening and hardening of the arterial wall and narrowing of the vessel lumen. The lesion often involves the large and medium-sized muscular arteries, and once it is large enough to block the lumen of an artery, the tissue or organ supplied by the artery will experience ischemia or necrosis. It is called atherosclerosis because of the yellow atheromatous appearance of the lipids that accumulate on the endarterium.

Atherosclerosis obliterans of the lower extremities

It is a disease caused by arteriosclerosis of the lower extremities and manifested as chronic ischemia of the lower extremities. It is similar to coronary heart disease in pathogenesis and represents systemic arteriosclerosis in lower extremities. It is closely associated with the aging process of human.

Reewarm™ PTX Drug Coated Balloon PTA Catheter

Reewarm™ PTX is indicated for Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) in the peripheral vessel. It is intended for the treatment of femoral popliteal artery stenosis or occlusion. The balloon carries paclitaxel which can inhibit the proliferation of smooth muscle cells by acting on the lesions, so as to treat atherosclerotic stenosis or occlusion. Reewarm™ PTX possesses the proprietary coating formulation and spraying technology, which can achieve uniform and stable drug coating. It can ensure the continuous and sufficient drug supply at the lesion, reduce the drug residues in blood and other non-target lesion, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions. Small coating particles enhance the paclitaxel concentration on the vascular wall, and reduce the risk of distal embolism caused by large particles.

Product Features:

  • Optimal drug tissue level ensures long-term effect on restenosis
  • Proprietary “3-D Atomizing Spraying Technology” enables uniform and stable drug coating
  • Small particles enhances the arterial tissue paclitaxel concentration on the vascular wall

Reewarm™ PTA Balloon Dilatation Catheter

Reewarm™ PTA is used in PTA for dilation of the subinguinal arteries due to stenosis or occlusion caused by atherosclerosis. These arteries include the iliac, femoral, popliteal, and below-the-knee arteries.

Product Features:

  • Composite coating improves the passing performance
  • The catheter is lined with PTFE material in its inner part to enhance the pushability and withdrawal
  • Inner hypo tube with spiral cutting ensures the excellent flexibility and pushability
  • Semi-compliant balloons reduce damage to blood vessels and the incidence of dissection

Ryflumen™ Peripheral High-pressure Balloon Dilatation Catheter

Ryflumen™ can effectively dilate the lesion during percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) and shorten the surgery time. Compared with ordinary balloon dilatation catheters, Ryflumen™ has a higher RBP (up to 24 atm). It can effectively dilate the stenotic lesion, and has lower compliance, which can effectively reduce the incidence of vascular dissection. The unique one-piece tip configuration helps improve the crossing ability of the balloon catheter. The hydrophilic coating on the surface of the balloon and catheter significantly improves the pushability, flexibility and trackability of the catheter. The dual-lumen design of the push rod, coupled with optimized catheter welding and assembly design, ensures industry-leading performance in terms of balloon deflation time.

Product Features:

  • RBP can reach up to 24 ATM
  • Excellent pushability, non-compliance and trackability
  • Short balloon deflation time
